Read thru to the final terrible anecdote re: making a black woman cry and then remember that in the spirit of comity and in keeping a watch on the traditions of the Senate, it would have been quite inappropriate for his colleagues, or even the boys in the press, to comment on what a vile despoiling of resources his human existence represented. Those are traditions not worth preserving.
