The Attorney General of Virginia, Ken "The Cooch" Cucinelli, is fighting to proceed with the plainly unconstitutional effort to prosecute a man under Virginia's law against sex that involves anything other than one penis and one vagina. Not surprisingly, Bill Clinton did not sign the Defense of Unimaginitive Sex Acts Act (DOUSAA) and anti-sodomy laws were declared unconstitutional several years ago.
The Cooch's efforts to revive the law have cast him as a prudish scold, but it is much much worse than that.
The great Dahlia Lithwick points out that what the Cooch is really trying to do is to send a man to jail for an act that The Cooch believes is wrong but is NOT, IN FACT, ILLEGAL.
