Reading a Wikipedia entry one can gather whether it has been maintained with love by a group of informed curators or left to die like an unwatered rosebush. Some pages are rendered unreadable by the ideological battles pitched paragraph by paragraph. A good sign of a well loved page: lots of useful information.
In the case of the entry for the AR-15--the civilian version of the M16 military machine gun--we find tons of useful stuff. Especially handy if you're thinking, "I'd love to go on vacation to a country with nice weather... where my death dispensing penis replacement will be legal. Australia? No. Austria? Nice."
